Gypsy Rose Lee left an impact on burlesque quite unlike others. Her eccentric acts and personality made her a a monumental figure in the history of burlesque, and a key role model for those neoburlesque artists trying to revive what she did. Gypsy isn't any one trick pony however. Some of her accomplishments lay outside of the burlesque realm, including her published novels.
